1st Competition of 2016 a Resounding Success!

Congratulations to all of our competitive athletes who participated in the January Figures and Routine competition! Much thanks to our coaches for their hard work and dedication to ensure our swimmers were well prepared for the competition.

Also, thanks goes to all of the parents who volunteered to help host the meet.  These meets allow athletes to shine, and we couldn’t do it without help from you.  Thank you!!

New Masters Recreational Classes Added!

Two new Masters Rec classes have been added to our schedule.  Masters Rec is for adults who have little or no synchronized swimming experience, but are looking for for fun, lots of laughs, and a fabulous and unique work-out!

The Wednesday class takes place at Pan Am pool from 7 – 8 p.m., while Thursday’s class runs from 6:30 – 7:30 at Elmwood Kildonans pool.

Session 2 classes begin mid January, and run until the end of May (18 weeks).  More information ...

Some members of the 13-15 Aquatica teamSession 2 classes for AquaSquirts, Learn to Synch, Learn to Synch Teen, and Recreational Masters are beginning the week of Saturday, January 16th, 2016. Aquatica Synchro chosen to participate in Synchro Canada’s nationwide LTAD Implementation Pilot Project

Aquatica Synchro is one of many clubs selected across the country to participate in this pilot project. Aquatica will be able to get an early peek and trial of the new standardized program content which is targeted to bring new members to the sport by encouraging a multi-sport approach to early development, and by ensuring young athletes receive the best quality skill progression that sport science can offer.
