Limited Competitive gives athletes the opportunity to experience a competition setting with other athletes at their level, without the pressure of being in a competitive program.
This program is designed for athletes that have done Learn to Synch 2 or Learn to Synch Teen in the past and are looking for more of a challenge without entering competitive programming.
We follow a modified version of Canada Artistic Swimming’s AquaGO! program as athletes work through 4 important pillars to aid not only in their development as an artistic swimmer but an athlete in other sports as well. The four main pillars we focus on are:
- Swimming Fundamentals
- Artistic Swimming Skills
- Athletic Abilities
- Flexibility

Limited Competitive Events
Along with the watershows that the other Learn to Synch groups participate in, this group also participates in the Limited Competitive category at Provincials in April. This gives athletes the opportunity to experience a competition setting with other athletes at their level, without the pressure of being in a competitive program.
Recreational Athletes Wardrobe:
-1 or 2 piece bathings suit to be worn at practice
-Bathing cap*
-Nose Clip*
*All athletes who register receive a latex swim cap and a nose clip (one per year regardless of the number of sessions).
Athletes will be required to have a black suit and white cap for the limited competitive event in April. The club has extra black suits and we can lend them out if athletes do not have one. Teams can decide to buy a matching suit (budget determined by parents, even just from costco works!) or wear a black suit for the routine portion of the event! A black suit for the figures portion of the event will be required even if the team decides to get matching suits.
