The Masters Program: Swimmers of all levels are welcome to participate in a fun and positive atmosphere once a week through physical fitness. Participants will enjoy the opportunity to develop skills to incorporate into a routine for training, performances within the club and competition if the group chooses. This is an energetic, fun-packed hour of fitness to music!
Entry Requirements: The Masters program is designed for adults 18 and over. All participants should be comfortable in deep water but artistic swimming experience is not necessary for all groups!
Masters Events: There are a few opportunities for our Masters athletes to show off what they have learned, however the coach and athletes will determine which opportunities their group would like to participate in. A year-end watershow will be held at the end of May.
3 of the training days are reserved for those who were previously skilled in artistic swimming and who are looking for an opportunity to stay active at the competitive level. This program offers both land and water training from a competitive level coach where the focus is on routine and figure development for specific competitions. This group competes in provincial meets and has the opportunity to travel. Travel plans will be determined by the end of December with a down payment due January 2025.
Competitive programs begin on September 7th 2024, and run through until Thursday, May 22nd, 2025. There are no classes over the Winter and Spring breaks.

Athletes can register for 1-4 days of training. |
*Saturday is a busy day at Pan Am pool. We love the space we get so want to use it, but there will be events happening that cause us to lose our pool space. These are the hours for a typical week, but there will be times when we have to change pool locations, modify practice times or give the athletes a (well deserved) weekend off. Once the Aquatic Group Schedule is released we will be able to determine which weeks are impacted.
**EK Pool is closed in September. Classes that are running from September 1st – September 29th are moved to PAN AM POOL.

** Aquatica Synchro is proud to be able to provide some of the most economical fees in competitive sport. Our competitive programs average $6.00 per hour of training with highly qualified, NCCP certified coaches. **
Competition Fees: There are 4 – 6 meets per year, and athletes are charged competition fees for each meet in which they participate. These fees range from $15 to $75 per event at each meet. “Events” include figures, team, solo, duet or combo at a given meet. All provincial stream athletes compete in the figure event and a routine event (usually team).
Volunteer Levy: Athletes registered in a competitive program are required to make a commitment to support the Club through volunteering.
Athletes back up their commitment to volunteer by agreeing to pay an amount pro-rated to the amount of time that they DO NOT complete – up to the full levy amount if no volunteering is completed.
Athletes can choose, at registration to ‘buy out’ their entire volunteer obligation if they have no intention of volunteering. Please refer to the Aquatica Family Commitment Plan for detailed information about volunteer requirements.
Full details on the Family Commitment Plan can be found here.
MASTERS CAN TRAIN SOLOS AND DUETS IN A GROUP SETTING FROM 9:00-9:30 ON WEDNESDAYS AT PAN AM POOL. This is new this season and an add on option to our masters programming.
If you would like 1:1 solo/duet coaching then please see below:
Swimmers request solo and duet routines as early as possible in the season. Please fill out this form by August 9th to Request Solo / Duet / Extra training. Requests that come after August 9th will be scheduled after all requests before August 9th are filled.
Final decisions regarding who swims solos and duets, as well as duet partnerships will be made by coaches on or before Thanksgiving weekend. Training starts after Thanksgiving Monday.
Additional training for figures or other athlete needs may be arranged and will follow the same schedule.
At Aquatica, we do our best to accommodate the needs of the individual. Hours available for training will be communicated to competitive families. Athletes wanting to train outside the hours offered should discuss options with their coach, extra costs for pool space can incur if sessions do not take place during regularly scheduled training times.
Fees include pool space time, coaching time on deck, as well as coaches prep time to choreograph routines, plan practices and cut music. If athletes add on training later in the season, their rate will be prorated accordingly.
**NEW**: Extra training that is scheduled on a day that conflicts with a holiday pool closure or competition day conflict will be made up. Coaches and parents are to communicate to determine the best time to fit in the make up session.
