Aquatica Synchro Club provides our members with the opportunity to achieve their personal best through a holistic approach. We believe synchro can offer life-long enjoyment and we offer this to any student- regardless of age or ability. We offer a positive, safe, supportive and inclusive environment where every athlete can be themselves.
Aquatica Synchro aims to offer quality programs that yield results. We believe in meeting the athlete wherever they’re at, and working in partnership to help them achieve their personal goals.
Athletes work together on a team. They develop a strong sense of self-confidence—the kind of confidence that will lead them to success and to the belief that they can succeed at anything if they work hard enough at it.
Aquatica Synchro follows the Canada Sport for Life (CS4L) Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model, a developmental pathway whereby athletes follow optimal training, competition, and recovery regimens from childhood through all phases of adulthood. Children, youth and adults do the right things at the right time for optimal development of physical and mental skills.
Aquatica believes in developing the whole athlete. Training does not just take place in the water. Athletes improve their flexibility through yoga and gymnastics training. Cardio stamina is enhanced with Zumba and sprints. Weight training promotes power and strength. But it’s not all about physical training- athletes learn goal-setting, perseverance, and how to work as a team.
Aquatica Synchro’s NCCP certified coaches are second to none! They are passionate about the sport, and share this passion with their athletes. The majority of our coaches train as athletes as well, competing on Aquatica Synchro’s competitive Masters Team. The insight gained by being an athlete as well as a coach is unsurpassed.
Most importantly, we believe in keeping sport FUN!
