Former USSR Junior National Team swimmer and 4-time Ukrainian Champion in 100m & 200m breaststroke (1978–1980). Medalist at USSR–Germany meet (1979) and USSR Junior Championships. Masters Champion at the Canadian Open (2007).

Graduated from the State Institute of Physical Culture of Kyiv (Swimming Coach, 1983) and Kharkiv State University (Economics, 1996).

Over 35 years of experience as a swimming coach, including assistant coach for the USSR National Team under Nina Kozhukh and private coach in Kharkiv (2003–2022). Coached national champions, Masters world record holder Vladimir Pilypchenko, and triathletes.

Skilled in technique development, training design, sports massage, psychology, and event organization.
