Elisa
Elisa first fell in love with the sport at a try-it class, after her parents saw an ad for synchro in the newspaper. Starting at the age of nine, she competed provincially for five years and then moved on to competing nationally. She has enjoyed travelling all over Canada and the United States to train and compete. One of her favourite memories was competing for Team Manitoba at the 2015 Canada Winter Games. Elisa continues to swim in our Competitive Masters Program!
Elisa began her coaching career at 16 when she started volunteering during synchro camps and try-its for Synchro Swim Manitoba. Elisa has worked with athletes of all ages from Aquasquirts to our High Performance athletes. No matter the skill level, Elisa enjoys seeing the athletes progress and enjoy the sport. “I now have athletes I have coached from a young age that are coaching themselves. Seeing them grow into their own and passing on their love for the sport, it is very rewarding.”
When not at the pool you can find her reading, camping and probably more swimming!
