Jennifer Land
Jennifer has been involved in the sport of Artistic Swimming for over 40 years as both an athlete and coach. She has been a certified Competition Development coach since the early 1990’s.
Jennifer competed at the elite level in artistic swimming with the Manitoba Aquadians. She was a member of Canada’s National Team in 1984 and won bronze (duet) and gold (solo) medals at the Canada Winter Games in 1983. She also competed internationally at both the Swiss and Austrian Open in 1983 and 1985. After a successful career as an athlete, Jennifer began to coach with the Manitoba Aquadians in 1986.
Her leadership helped her athletes find success nationally and one of her teams became the first Manitoba team to medal at a National championship. She led one of her athletes to earn a spot on the Canadian Junior National team and also took a team to compete internationally at the French Open. Jennifer brings a wealth of experience to whatever group she coaches and is constantly looking for new ways to inspire and help her athletes achieve their goals.
Outside the pool she enjoys spending time with family at the lake and following the fortunes of the Winnipeg Jets.
