Aquatica Synchro Club participated in the Canadian Prairie Championships May 2-5, 2019 in Regina, Saskatchewan. The road trip is a great opportunity for our swimmers to get to know each other better while having some fun along the way. Once arriving it was straight to business with a practice at the host pool. Friday brought solo and duet routines, figures on Saturday ending with a athlete banquet, and finally team routines on Sunday morning before heading home.We saw fantastic swims from everyone with many athletes able to place top 6 in their categories, including:
5 gold medals for 10 & U Figures, Novice Figures, 11-12 Trio Championship, Novice Trio Routine and Novice Trio Championship.
1 silver medal for 11-12 Trio Routine
3 bronze medals for 11-12 Team Routine, 11-12 Team Championship and 10 & U Team Routine
4th place ribbon for 10&U Figures
5th place ribbon for 11-12 Duet
6th place ribbon for 13-15 Solo
